Exporting weapon models and textures from the game?
Is it possible? Because sometimes there are things what would be easier to do it by editing the weapon texture itself in Photoshop.

I thought exporting could not be that hard, but importing and then publishing to workshop
it isn't hard at all. Get the bundle modder tool, set your game assets folder and a folder where it should extract to, click on extract and wait until it's done

Thanks! And I will be able to import textures back after editing and publish the skin on workshop?
when exporting the gamefiles, it makes copys of them. So you basicly have the packed files for the game in your steam folder and an unpacked copy, which you have full acces to all the single files.

Exporting files is easy enough with teh modding tools. However, painting directly onto the textures themselves will not affect any workshop skin at all. Sorry

That's the answer for my question. Thank you! So I give up on this method. :)
