Hey everyone I think I saw a video from Noam2000? iirc did a concept of the idea of Doom weapon sprites in serious sam, I figure it would be really neat to see this idea finalized?

of course serious sam has alot more weapons than Doom 1/2 so quickly scrounged around and found some additional sprite sets that would easily work for TSE's aresenal in the following list what they could replace?

From Doom you got your
Doom Fist : Knife
Doom Chainsaw : Chainsaw?
Doom pistol : Colt
Dual pistols (Realm 667) : Dual colts? (less accurate?
Doom shotgun : Shotgun
Doom super shotgun : Double barrel shotgun
Doom Chaingun : Tommy gun
Skulltag Minigun : Minigun
Doom Rocketlauncher : Rocket launcher
Skulltag Grenade launcher : Grenadelauncher
Doom plasma rifle : Lasergun
Realm 667 Flame thrower : Flame thrower
Skulltag Railgun : Sniper rifle
and of course the BFG9k which would easily work as a cannon

I think the main thing that would concern me in a mod like this, someone might try and force you're generic weapons like the cell based ones to share ammo, i.e BFG (40 cells), plasmarifle (1 cell per bolt) and if you know anything about the Skulltag Railgun. it uses 10 cells per shot as well.

if one were to be interested in creating this, it would be awesome, I kind of hope that the gameplay plays reletively the same as the origional, with... the exception of the bfg. I don't know what anyone would do about that, since I have no idea about serious sam modding and have absolutely no idea how one would achieve the tracers from the projectile / players screen.
