Mod removal for space
So yesterday i unsubscribed to a bunch of mods i didn't want anymore in order to have acces to other mods, since you can only have 50 mods on Killing floor, and subscribed to others, but when i boot up the game i still have the old mods and no acces to the new ones... Anyone knows how to uninstall older mods in order to make space for new ones

In Steam, go to Library > right click Killing Floor > Properties > Local Files > Browse Local Files, open the Cache folder, and delete all the contents to start over. It's probably a lot faster to delete everything and allow the game to re-download the subscribed mods, than it is to figure out which mod is which

Do you really think subbed mods go to Cache?

Yeah. You got me. I was thinking of how it is in kf2 for some reason. It probably would've been more productive to give the correct answer, but I guess the "gotchyah" is more fulfilling for you. Oh well

OP: follow the above directions, but go to the Maps folder instead, and delete whatever maps you don't want to keep. If it's something other than just Maps, it'll be in System, etc. You'll likely need to consult the unsubscribed mods to see what files they contained, and delete them

I actually want more guns, and a vector costume mod, and i did what was said, and still most of my choices don't appear, i deleted all the files i had of killing floor, since cache didn't do anything, and got rid of unwanted mods, but now new ones don't appear

Lol where did you hear that? Thats completely wrong.

You can only stayed SUBSCRIBED to 50 mods only. It does not matter if they are installed.

The download if very buggy. Sometimes it will download but most of the time it wont. Once your subscribed item has downloaded, unsubscribe from it. I would also check the mods description to see if there are any download links you can use instead or can google search some modes to see if they are available else where like on the Tripwire forums.

Im not sure what causes mods no longer to download from the workshop. Its been 8 years and im not sure how it works. You can join a online game or just play solo for a minute or 2 and then exit to see if that will work. Sometimes this works for me.

You can also check your killingfloor.log file to see if one of the subbed mods is causing a "clog"
