I'm having the same problem.

Dave has been running and exporting files for me, but my BOB is broken and wont even run.

day after now, official modding tools still dont work.

Going to look into fixing it myself now

Looks like I need to as well, thanks to things I want to do with new effects, but I really don't want to go through the extra work.

Tried a lot of things to try get the tools to work including a full reinstall and data wipe of the tools. The problem seems to simply be that i cant download the tools with the current up to date datebase. Not sure how to fix that other than using different tools

CA did not yet update the db files. Current version of assembly kit does not contain dlc changes and as some table changed if you force you may break the game.

One of the developers said they found a problem with assmebly kit before release and are working on it. I hope they fix it asap. I like doing minor changes to some aspects of the game.

left it another 4 days and still no fix for this other than use unofficial tools. Personally ive looked into using other tools but it comes down to it being much more messy and complicated that using the official tool used to edit data bases.

I agree. The dependency and reference tools in AK make it more reliable. Now I am trying to use rpfm which is faster but I can not know if any typo exists or not. Also dropdown and search was better imo with AK.

Yeah, PFM and RPFM have a clear advantage when you need to manage multiple mods, but when you want to just explore the database, DAVE is a clear winner.

And Startpos Editing is like having cancer without Dave. :/ I basically only use it for that and rpfm for everything else.

you have no idea how many times ive opened PFM or RPFM to work on changing the start.pos files and then just close it again caus i cant be bothered lol.
