what programs to make characters?

Just curious what programs everyone is using to make the characters. I don't know how to 3d model other that stuff like Fuse

Most people are downloading PMX models made for MikuMikuDance and converting them with the guide posted by the developers of DesktopMMD. I'm doubtful anyone has made a model from scratch just for this yet.

I may be blind but I can't seen to find this guide.

Check the "Guides" section up top right between "News" and "Reviews". Though the guide isn't perfect it's a good place to start. But the software is broken right now so wait for an update.
