What part of WA are you in. Sold my house up in Puyallup a few years ago. Spent a lot of time in the field over at Yakima Firing Center with the 9th Infantry Division at Ft, Lewis, 88 thru 90 then off to 2nd Inf Div over in Korea.
Oh try this, Its as near to FPS as you can get, Select an engineer or any squad. Zoom all the way in. Tilt the cam view to ground level and zoom into where yon no longer see the squad or member of that squad selected. You can then just rotate the cam view to view around the position they are at. To scan the area around them or observe activity in their sector within their FOW distance limitation. I zoom to where I have just a tinge of their helmet showing. Gives the appearance that you are right there beside or behind them.
I did a lot of fly and spin fishing on the American River in the Mt.Rainier Park along Hwy 410. Would get to that area via Chinook Pass. Beautiful scenery and Good fishing there.
No, I got orders for Korea in 1990 an reported to 1/2 AVIATION BN (ATTACK), 2ND INF DIVISION located at Camp Laguardia, Uijeongbu roughly 14 miles north of Seoul. Never made it back to the Northwest yet. Went to Ft. Riley, KS 1st INF Div. then another 3 year assignment to Germany. Retired in Germany to Florida where its Warmer... Korea is Cold as Hell. Kansas not any better (Wind)...Germany just plain miserably cold.
