With all the non-mission tasks your squad members can be assigned to, and how time advances after the completion of a mission, I'd love the option to assign androids to mission slots to act as a substitute while your squaddies are on passive assignment. The game gives you several options very early on while you only have one squad member who isn't part of the mandatory 4 that must be in the APC for any kind of deployment, and allowing you to take an Android on missions would open up a lot more options in the early stages of the game.
