Patchwork storm generator bug

can someone figure it out why learning storm generator with patchwork completely broke the abilities, keep stunning but does no damage, and using capacitor discharge crash the game, and if there's any modding fix for it?

discharge doesnt crush the game for me, and using "bzzzt" does dmg but the animation has delay and its often overwritten by stun/disorient txt msg. But if u look at enemy HP, u see them go down

is discharge when she has the upgrade of "storm generator", load before she got it and everything works fine.
And yes I also have the animation delay, but after storm generator it doesn't do damage (love the call it bzzzt to chaining jolt)
is not a sound problem because the crash log said video error
