Trench mortar and camo net
1. How to enable mortar fire out of trenches? I already modified behaviour.ext for the mortars to allow attacking ground outside hold, I also modified trenches to accept mortars, still nothing, am I missing something and is it even possible?

2. I'd like to make one specific slit trench always appear with a camo net on top and one without it, how can I do that?

And bonus question, is it possible to make 17 pounder into a team weapon with proper animations? I've already got it moving about, but it looks rather silly when it's crew is just sitting in positions while it's sliding towards it's mark. I tried copying team weapon strings from 6 pounder, changing roles f.e. from gunner_sync to 17pounder_gunner_sync, but nada.

It's likely the 17pdr simply doesn't have any moving animations as it was never intended to be mobile, and of course you can't add any of your own.

Yeah, that's what I assumed, especially since it doesn't even have rotation animations. However, you never know if there's a working workaround: D

Could you borrow the characteristics of the german raktenwefer?

It can fire out of trenches and buildings.

Maybe inherit some of its abilities?
