Need help with Necroa template
I'm trying to make a scenario using the Necroa template that plays like a standard plague at first and the zombies are only activated by an end game trait. The problem is, even if I set a high cure resistance my plague is cured ridiculously fast and countries close their borders, airports and seaports way too early. I thought it may have to do with the government actions tab, so I gave it the standard gov actions (not Necroa gov actions) through file editing. Now cure progress is slower but I still have the problem of countries closing off. If I can't find a solution, I will be forced to change the plague type.:steamsad:

Look under the basic disease details tab (I forget what it's called, the first tab under "disease"). There's a value there for default research efficiency; Necroa Virus has a much higher value by default than other disease types (because it's supposed to be cured before you infect the whole world) but you can change it to whatever you like.

That's the cure requirement. Necroa had a negative value (less research needed) while the other diseases have 0. I already tried that, 0 doesn't change much and even high numbers only delay the cure slightly. Still, there're the closed countries problem.

Just set the cure requirement parameter above the reccomended spectrum. Also, in the Event editor you can reduce global awareness with Bonus Global Awareness.
Thus in the requirement you just put a formula, maybe you will want to put the variables of severity and days since the game started>, =, or =/= Global awareness, so that if the game skews your idea of balanced awareness curve the event triggers
Thus you just put a formula in the consequences that puts the global awareness back in its place. Remember to set the number of times the event can trigger to -1 and to not limit it by other events
