Definitely check it out and see if it does what you need.
However, it is still an integer. It jumps in 0.7m increments so a value of 1 moves the floating scenery up 0.7m and -1 moves it down 0.7m.
If you definitely need fine tuned water height adjustment then one option to maintain back-compatibility is I could make this parameter accept a decimal. So 1.5 could be used to raise the water height by 1.5 x 0.7 = 1.05m. You'll have to do a bit of trivial maths but should get you to any value you need.
