Modding an Extension for AWSW
As I have come to see the facts about AWSW it has become clear that an extension of AWSW would be interesting to see even after the end of the game. Since this takes some time to create and process, I have created a github repository for the beginning factors of the mod itself. Since there are many things to go over and make sure it fits with Angels with Scaly Wings I would like to ask those if they'd want anything special within it. Keep in mind this will be SFW. Do not try to play the Mod until you are attempting to find issues of the mod which most of them I have already found by trial and error. Basically the mod will allow characters that you usually don't see until after or during a specific chapter which allows me to extend the interactions with everybody. Of course this may result in issues such as bugs and such, but everything else should be fine after it is ready for release. Here is a link to the project repo on Github.

Sooo this allows you to interact with characters out of order?

That’s what I’m planning on doing later on XD. out of order seems a bit Difficult in a way however but the thing is as long as it works it’s good. In the meantime the official beta release for kevin is open since I don’t have a team. It’s only me and a few friends and a few acquaintances. That helped me get this portion of it out even tho it’s not entirely completed. It’ll be updated and any bugs should be patched along the way.

Further development into Sebastian's Second Date! Fun fact I will make it so that you can date him/Meet up with him 2 times a day without taking away the ability to do the main characters. For instance if you have Naomi's mod you will be able to go and meet up with her and that will charge you a point on your dates for that chapter. The main characters you will also be able to go out and date if you will, same rules apply with them to Naomi. Sebastian is a special case for everyone to enjoy.

Good news folks, Kevin is surprisingly getting another mod, but this time it is absolutely another, "bye kevin" just with more code lol. He's not being torn out completely rather just being skipped over so that he'll work for my mod at the best since the MC will be meeting up with Kevin around Chapter 1 it is best to remove Kevin from chapter 4 so that he has his full fledged ability to be well... interacted with instead of him just rambling away like there is no tomorrow whatsoever. image[cdn.discordapp.com]

There's more to it now and there's even a little way for me to sign in without problem and bypass that security check. Usually if you fail to meet the requirements it will boot you to the next scene leaving out the extended scene for Bryce himself. As I required in the code, to bypass the security checks you have to at least have both of Bryce's 'Good' and 'Bad' endings in order to actually get use this scene. Once it is initiated you'll want to make sure you have both achievements or it won't work at all. Hence a skipping of that scene will exist, to kinda get the moduser to go and get those achievements. Later on I will develop an alternative method to bypass the security check for the mod itself which later will be able to be used to the public. Almost like a grant token, but with more steps if you know what I mean. In terms of the mod being run itself even to exclude certain things it will allow the moduser to get around that block in a way if you meet certain requirements in game. Of course this particular scene cannot be skipped due to the fact that I cannot find the correct node. (Or I don't have the tool or want to go Node counting.) This happens in Chapter 3 make sure you at least spend 3 dates with Bryce. This will work to initiate the mod for Bryce's_Extended which is shown here. The modpack consists of several other mods as you can see. Of course I forgot Lorem whom of which will be added as Lorem_Extended. Alright so I found out that there's achievements that can be filled into the game itself! Which is really impressive what I am thinking about doing with this is adding my own achievements by art, mind, and hand to allow more personal achievements to be accomplished as well. I also implemented the 'achievement checking' code block so it will make sure that it'll tell the MC The player aka y'all that you are missing the specific achievements in order to see that scene in particular. Of course I am planning to implement another block so that it'll also add-in my own achievements that I will be making from hand and add it in myself through the resources of my modpack. This'll come in hand for folks who want more achievements. What I plan to do with this is not only prevent the total number of mods from the base game from growing but to allow the current number of achievements granted to the player to increase basically there's /63 in total xx/63+1 if you want to be specific. if you have 63/63+1 achievements when you get the modpack installed and placed into the mods folder, you'll be able to have more achievements added to the query of hidden achievements / general achievements. However I am planning to make it so that the mod won't be a lot of general achievements i was thinking along the lines of adding more hidden achievements to the mod which of course will not be attached to the base game only the mod itself. image[cdn.discordapp.com] I also implemented a bit further with the security bypass mechanic just to give it a better taste of an actual 'SYSTEM' image[cdn.discordapp.com] image[cdn.discordapp.com] This does this for both Username input and Password input. If you input the incorrect username it'll ask you if you would like to try again. Otherwise you'll miss out and not be able to see that special scene everyone's been waiting for! Also, a side note for y'all interested. I made it so that in the menu it will loop as well as verify your status for the endings that you have in order to proceed to the next scene that will eventually be bypassable once I get that code block implemented for public use. I really do hope y'all are excited as I am for the release to the public for this modpack. I even do hope to see it be in the workshop once it is completed. Once I get the core for the modpack out that will be the main and primary source for the modpack in general. Basically an 'ecosystem' of connected mods that work together and won't interfere with each others processes this will be highly beneficial for me and the modpack soon to be released. I don't know when but at some point they will be released.

Since I’m more adapted to Bryce, I don’t have every other characters personality traits nor much other plotting ideas which is an issue for me.I would’ve done RNG but... i prefer it would be better if it was decided by group or mind. And whatever ideas that are common or even uncommon will be used. That also includes adding in foreign OCs as well that may be a possibility if anyone's up for that in the mod as well. Of course the game resolves you within a Small Town upon entering through the portal to start off your journey within countless timelines that are then passed down from connections to your higher up self within another timeline. Basically constructing new ones I can only draw so much lol.

I did this so that I can jump back to different labels here and test them to see if I can successfully access my mod and the base game as well without interrupting anything. Of course I will not be able to jump any further forward as it will throw an error at me if I miss a variable on accident. An undefined on that is in a function and is queued in the script for use. I am trying to make this as clean as I possibly can so that there is no errors upon running the mod. And since there is a 'Skip This Scene' it will help you skip over that particular scene if you have already seen it. Eventually I will implement it further so that 'System' will allow you to skip it if you have actually already seen this before. This also allows me to track down the variables as well so I don't need to go hunting for them and trying to fix it so that there isn't that 'Variable is not defined'.
