Beginner Tips - Walls and Floors

I really need pointed in the direction of a guide. I've never created aesthetic content for any game, but I want to make floors and walls for Two Point Hospital. I thought close-up pictures of actual carpets might work. But those turn out looking like tiles rather than a unified carpet.

What do I need to know to get started? I do much better with typed up instruction than I do with videos, so a blog or webpage would be my preference. I have tried a few searches online but I'm still lost.

For that matter, someone needs to point out how to apply custom walls and floors. I haven'tlocated the option yet.

To start make any room... After the room is made, re click on it. A box will pop up on the right. On the bottom of that box is a tab called CUSTOMISE. click it. A new tab will pop up on top. Choose walls or floor. here you can choose a new wall or floor. If you want to make your own, Click the steam icon on the right of the floor- wall buttons.

When I first made a custom wall or floor I ran into the same problem. So to start Google something like " Happy Patterns"... Pick a picture of one you like. Save it to your PC. Then open the picture with your favorite photo editing program. I use IRFANVIEW.. It is a free editor. Crop the picture so only the pattern is showing. Then for walls change the image size to 256x256. Then add it to the work shop
