How to unsubscribe workshop items

Can anyone please tell me how to unsubscribe from workshop items to stop them downloading when I re-install RF2.
I have tried every trick I can find in the various forums and each time even after "Unsubscribing all" when I start RF2 it spends the next 2 hrs downloading everything I have subscribed to over the last 3 years.
I would like to get rid of everything and only download the items I want to use but this seems impossible.
I cannot believe it is this difficult so hopefully I am doing something stupid and someone can explain how to do this.

Open: This PC/D: (or drive where rF2 is installed) Steam Library/steamapps/workshop/content/365960 then all your workshop downloads are shown, you can delete any of them if you want them to never come back.
