Could a couple of people please post their designed cars to the workshop? It looks like this can be done in the editor.

A few days ago I have sended you a few @ Eric. I am still waiting if I did alright. I guess no response mean all is alright!?

@ Topic: I dont know how to put a carmodel into workshop. For me it seems only mods and maps can be done via Editor.

You would have to do it via the mod system.

Ah, yeah now I saw it. I will try to add an examble to the workshop. @Topic
But now that I know I did alright with my sended files I will send you more files for predesigned cars soon anyway. @Eric

Hm, it always give me a errormessage when I try to add a new carfile.
It always say " Vehicledesign must have a valid .car file, a valid .mesh file and a valid name."
I dont know what I am doing wrong.

Ok I figured it out.
So now I can add carfiles to a list and save it.
But I really dont know what to do now.
I am not sure I have the time and patience at the moment to figure out how to bring a carfile to the workshop. Sorry.

I dont know what I am doing wrong.

Click the ... button beside "Car File" text box. Then you select the .car file. After you fill out the rest of the text boxes, you hit Add New, to add the .car file to the list.

After you create a list of .car files and saved it, you go to the mod editor tool, add the predesigned cars .xml file, then save/export that. Just use the predesigns checkboxes instead of what's in the video.)

I was able to upload a testmod. Now I have to take good pictures, make a small but fine list and release it.

One Question.

In the Predesignloader you can enter a from-to date. Is it the period where the designs appear for the Players? Cause I have to enter manualy the Years.

That is the date that the predesign is accessible to the player.

Yeah I guessed it. Thats a bunch of work if you add the designs manualy and wanna give the correct date for the models. At least I added the designs via bulkdesignoption. There it enter automaticly 1900-1999 for all models. For modern designs that wouldnt be enough.
Anyway if the players use the designs as savedcars as I recommended it, it doesnt matter.
