The iconic F-unit diesel locomitve CP 1401 (built in 1958) will be leading the famous Royal Canadian Pacific, with more than ten beautifully restored RCP heritage passenger cars, across Canada. Beginning July 28th in Port Moody, B.C., Canadain Pacific will be hosting celebrations in 13 Canadian cities and towns. The train will be traveling west to east, completing a reverse tour of the very first transcontinental passenger train trip made on June 28th, 1886. The final Canada 150 Train event takes place place August 20th in Ottawa.

There will be lots of entertainment, including performances by Canadian country music singer Dean Brody, and world champoin hoop dancer Dallas Arcand. If that wasn't enough, you can also win a chance to ride the Canada 150 Train from Toronto to Winnipeg from August 29th to August 31st.
