Workshop GUIDES, DOWNLOADLINKS and general stuff you need to know!

The RL-Modding-Community made many guides/threads about map-modding. I've listed some of them below, but if you want all of them you should join our DISCORD server on which we've listed nearly all modding guides. We're also offering support if you have any questions!

Trying to give you all you need to get started with this WORKSHOP:

HOW TO USE WORKSHOP MAPS:

select the workshop map you like, then click on "SUBSCRIBE" [GREEN BUTTON]
Then start RocketLeague. After that CLICK on EXTRAS in the MAIN MENU--> WORKSHOP ---> Now select the map you want to play :)

Not officially supported mods:

BakkesMod[bakkesmod.com] (All around very good tool for a lot of features like custom training, and A LOT of quality of life modding options and crazy plugins!!)

AlphaConsole BakkesMod PLUGIN[bakkesplugins.com] (supports custom textured ball skins and player banners, underglow car mod a lot more smaller quality of life adjustmens)

RL SKINS WIKI Discord server[discord.gg] (For all texture modding inquiries, questions, wishes. We create decals, animations, new design of items ect.)

Thank you for reading! Really hope this will help you to get started with this workshop and im really sorry for not posting this earlier, but i thought that would be the job of a moderator of this forum.

Then start RocketLeague. After that CLICK on EXTRAS in the MAIN MENU--> WORKSHOP ---> NOW SELECT THE MAP YOU WANNA PLAY :)

maybe the map you're trying to play is broken? what map is it?

ive been having a problem where i select a workshop map ingame and then the game crashes immediatly

I know this is a old post, but I have my maps and can access them through extras, and the map comes up and I can drive around. However, I can not invite friends, access the mutators, or choose a team (put on neutral(White)) Am I doing this wrong?

Psyonix is not supporting multiplayer or team-modes on workshop maps... for these features you will have to set up rocketlauncher(a modding tool)...if you're interested i recommend joining the Discord server to get near info about the tool. Download can be found on rocketleaguemods.com

We need an official map editor which has all the actor classes used in the game. I don't understand why there is no editor bundled with the game. "-editor" as shortcut parameters doens't work at all. Why not just put the editor.exe in the games directory? Please....

the effort they'd have to put in a "editor" would not be worth it at all...
also: why tho, since there is UDK with which you can create a lot of maps, importing 3d meshes, textures and adding also elements from the actualy game/map enviroment.
