Some suggestions I have are:
-any species of the Salvinia genus
-the Indian Fern (Ceratopteris thalictroides)
-the spongeplant (Limnobium laevigatum)
-duckweeds.
I also have a suggestion for permanent juveniles as a separate animals for purchase. These focus on species which have very distinct juvenile and adult colours and sizes, such as the Emperor and French Angelfish. The juveniles can also show different behaviour to the adults, e.g. young French Angelfish are intolerant of each other while the younger Emperor will be less aggressive.

A new category: invincible animals. These are animals that are toxic, venomous, or otherwise not eaten even by sharks or large fish. Could somebody add these for sandbox games? They have the same requirements as the animals already in the game (many of these already exist as mods or in base game), but IRL they are usually not eaten by other animals. Therefore, they can safely be put into tanks with sharks or large fish like groupers. A simple way to implement this is to give them a defence of 99 or something crazy.
-blue ringed octopus
-lionfish
-the various pufferfish are probably also toxic enough to be in this category
-cone snails-Geography Cone, textile cone, tulip cone, princely cone, marbled cone
-seasnakes
-greenland shark
-Flamboyant Cuttlefish
-smooth toadfish
-Pajama squid
-moray eel
-porcupinefish and box fish
-Xanthid Crab
-soapfish
-stingray
-stinging sea fern
-flower urchin
-sudden death cuttlefish
a defence of 99 is literally impossible I have to say. And from the last list: The sea krait has been made by me in Amazing Mangrove bonus disc. Stonefish is also made by me. Moray Eels/Stingrays are both in many variants already available. For the others I am not sure if people are working on them :)
To be honest, I'm surprised that nobody modded it already
I also think we need a tarpon - they're such a staple of most large aquariums, and they could be compatible with both salt- and freshwater habitats.
But that happened three days after FF launch so it may have been uptaded ?
