Problems Importing Ships Since New SE Updates.
Before the latest updates i had no issues importing ships. Everything would go smoothly, and all materials would show up on the SML file.

The problem now is when i import the same ships the SML, and CFG files are missing half the materials. Sometimes all material will be missing. Sometimes i will see is 4 of the same material when it should be 4 different materials. If you look at "The Ships of Star trek Continuum" More specifically the Reliant, and newer Ambassador refit. I had to text edit in the missing materials manually on the CFG, and the SML files. Which worked for the Ambassador refit, but not for the Reliant. The Reliant crashes SE whenever i try to add its engine material.

Nothing shows up in the logs that can help me that i can see.

I never had this problem before. Am i missing something? I followed the import guides to the letter, and it worked fine before the latest updates.

I convert polys to triangles, and merge groups to a single mesh just like the guide says. Though now they dont have to be triangulated, or merged into a single group i do it anyway.

I use 3dsMax 2018, and export to .OBJ from there. Sometimes i have to use Deep Exploration for some minor editing, but that has never effected the import into SE before. Worst that happened before was i had reversed normals. Which was fixed by re-exporting.

I dont understand whats going on now. I tested this on ships that imported fine the first time before, but now i get same missing, or wrong material issues.

Any suggestions?
