In most games, others can't see a skin mode you've got installed, unless they themselves have it installed as well. Just wondering if that's also the case here, most skin mods in this game appear to be .png files, so its a lot simpler in that sense than 3d models. Can't find anything online about how that works in this game, and haven't actually tested it myself.
