qol mods not allowed?
the days are way too short- this seems to be a rather common gripe, and apparently the current staxel system just doesn't allow time alteration mods at all... really sucks but i'd happily download a mod outside of the workshop if it made days longer.

i think it's really stupid that buying ingredients costs more than a finished recipe sells for. doing the labor yourself should earn you SOMETHING, and farming the ingredients should earn you even more. i'd also like to opt out of the realistic economic flood prevention(selling lots of a thing making it worth less). i haven't seen any mods that alter mechanics like this either, which is odd.

other things that would make me enjoy the game a LOT more;
-the 'show region display' check box not randomly unchecking itself
-catalog being filled out when you buy it, like a real catalog, instead of needing you to have everything in it already
-items selling for no less than they can be bought for (return policy)

does the game only allow added content, no actual game modifications?

Next update will add MinutesPerDay that can be overriden in core.config or be set by a code mod.
Changing this value however on an existing world and/or multiplayer will likely break a whole bunch of things.

Also QoL mods are highly encouraged :) Changing existing things is harder than adding things however, the Staxel community isn't as large as some others so code level modding is still a bit early.
