Hmmm... after testing it for a while, it does not seem to auto-scale enemies that you have not killed nor the rewards you have not claimed. :S

Real Time Updates is an Engine Limitation. Would have to Reset the area by walking to 3 different zones without using Portals or Dungeons which is much easier once Act 2 is unlocked.

Lan Re-Roll World is a faster option.

Not sure this affects Quest Awards.

Out of curiosity, does re-rolling world scale everything to my character's level or do I specifically need an auto-scaling mod like the one above for that?

Just tried re-rolling the world after accepting the quest: the promise quest rewards do not appear to scale. I wonder... Is there a mod that replaces all quest item rewards with gold? I guess that would help mitigate this issue.

This is the closest Mod I found on improving Quest Awards (no Gold replacements I can find)... appears this is the first time anyone has asked for Gold Awards. I'll ask the Torch Modders about this.

Well... it seems item drops and enemies spawning during special events/ambushes do not scale. :S
