Dear Programmers,
PLEASE MAKE A BUTTON THAT MAKES ALL VILLAGERS STAY IN THEIR HOUSES EXCEPT SELECTED JOBS THAT THE PLAYER CAN PICK THEMSELVES.
This is because when vikings come I unemploy most villagers except ones with jobs inside walls or ones that are defenders. Because the in-game year is so short the crop harvest often happens during viking attacks. This causes my villagers to go get the food to bring to their houses or the grain storage. The vikings then proceed to kidnap my villages. The villagers sometimes also leave the safety of their houses to put out the flaming wooden walls on the outside of my closed off viking-proof area instead of on the inside, which is completely possible.
I enjoy the game besides this very serious problem and I sometimes cannot stand to play because this is so annoying. I have thought about this and how to fix the problem a lot. Hope you fix this.
