I'm not sure, from which version 2020 is accessed 1.7.f1> 1.7.c1 or 1.6> 1.7.c1
In check updates, it appears as final version 1.7.f1, mayb it does not have the necessary components installed or it is incorrectly configured.
So I have no idea if I have the right one...
Search on youtube"activate unity license", there are 4 steps and you activate it easy
Also looks like you need to register with Unity.
This is starting to be a lot more work and a whole lot more data than it is worth, just to be able to mod a game that is not even working properly at the moment lol
Now it is somewhat hasty, they are still doing tutorials and the game will be modified very often, I plan to learn 3d with the good teachers on YouTube :p
It just gets a little frustrating that every time I want to work on a new game I need a completely new set of tools and 3rd party tools, a ton of disk space and a huge amount of time installing everything and getting it to run correctly, before the people making the tools make a new version and you have to learn that one all over again because they think they have made it "better" and moved everything around, I'm looking at you Blender hehe
No, I understood you perfectly, I simply nodded, to what you were saying, that it was a "hasty" situation to begin with.
Yes, I was looking at blender, I like the design of the program and its features.
Yea I used to really like Blender, but they keep upgrading to new version and quite often it has also meant a complete overhaul of layout and keybindings, so it was almost like learning a completely new tool every time, and it just got too annoying after a while
The more content and functions a program has, the most likely it is to have additional changes in shorter periods. (broad base)
While it's worth it, have to learn.
All I wanted was a way to make the game brighter as it is soo dark in many areas you can't even see the monsters attacking you, it's all health bars.
Do I even need unity for this or is there a command line for steam launch that will work?
