Nexusmods is free. All you need to do is make an account to download. It doesn't cost any money for the slow download that if your internet is a decent speed doesn't take long at all.

As Silara said, you can pay for a premium nexus account, but you by no means have to. It is perfectly free, and all files with the green check are run through virustotal before being made available.

Don't worry. We were all there at first. You will get the hang of it. It's just a good idea, especially at first, to become somewhat paranoid about saving and backing up, while you're getting the hang of things.
