Uploading to workshop
I'm the guy that already opened an issue about saving in the main discussion page. I figured putting it here would help not clutter the main discussion page. I'm having an issue with uploading to workshop. I have a map saved that I can successfully test. When I press the button to upload to workshop, it puts me into the map like I'm testing it. I don't see it in the workshop here or in my lobby. Thanks for any help!

When you press the "upload to workshop" button it makes you play through the level once to confirm it is beatable and tag it with approximate play lenght, then you get put back in the editor and you get a camera between your controllers to take a picture of it for on the workshop. Trigger takes the picture, grips can still move you around. After taking it it'll show you the picture and start uploading!

I hope that helps!

No problem man! It's my job!

The only things that take priority are sleeping and working on the game. :)

So I managed to upload it(Gunner Tower). I see it in the workshop here on Steam. I see that I have 13 subscribers. But it doesn't show in my list in the lobby. Any ideas?

Hey! :-) I finally uploaded my first level, after the obligatory playtest and thumbnail shot, which worked great! Whilst playtesting I noticed a couple of niggly things that don't affect gameplay, but I would like to change them / add to them.

However, the level is uploaded now, so, do I have to delete; change; re-playtest; re-upload; re-thumb? I anticipate this is the case to avoid duplications and to ensure any changes don't break the level right?

Further to the above query: If I edit my copy of an uploaded level, and then re-upload to the workshop WITHOUT CHANGING THE FILENAME does this result in a duplication, or does it overwrite the previously uploaded map? If it overwrites, does it reset any likes / comments etc?

I think I answered my own question :-)
