Mod Request: A mod to change upgrades so they are no longer removed when you put mechs into cold storage

Me and a buddy of mine just found out today the hard way that upgrades you put into mechs go away when you put them into cold storage. I personally don't agree with this part of the game nor do I seek to play around it, is there a mod that exists/anyone willing to make the mod that will change it so upgrades are no longer removed? Many thanks

I wanna experience the game with as few changes as possible before delving into overhauls and stuff like that
