Advice?
Hi. I posted only the other day. I'm a new modder. Well recently one of the projects I'm working involves retexturing through the use of materials a duplicate of a regular weapon. I'm not changing the mesh itself. Im duplicating them and changing the materials. It all seems to have worked until I go into P.I.E and it's the original weapon design being used.

Am I doing something wrong?

I've tried doing copies of the blueprints and templates, I've tried doing childs, I've tried making sure that the used as skeletal is ticked on the materials and the material instances. I've made sure the textures are a power of 2. I've even tried just changing the Hue of the textures and nothing.

I also tried running an export of meshes through blender (no alterations) and exporting them as new mesh files but that didn't work and in fact ♥♥♥♥♥♥ everything up. (excuse the langauge).

Any advice would be helpful.
