Just back playing again after a long absence - had some thoughts.
After this recent playthrough I've had a couple thoughts that I think would be fun to see in the game. Firstly - medical buildings. Starting out as say - shaman huts, graduating to apothecary. I wouldnt want it to be a cure all building but maybe 25% to start, 50% at max, maybe throw in a 10% chance the patient will die just to keep them on their toes. This could also add some new plants - herbs gathered for producing medicines. I just think it would be cool and not entirely inaccurate. Cheesemaking was very cool - thats new since I played last. I also think that outposts for people to stop at on long trips to sleep or eat would make life easier in the later stages. I like to setup multiple villages since there aren't any others on the map - they will automatically "trade" resources as one area needs stuff to produce an item and whatnot. An outpost that anyone can enter would make this a lot more feasible once you get to the farther edges of the map. As always it would be super fun if there were other people on the map, villages to trade with and such that you can actually see, maybe the raider villages visible as well give the option for preemptive strikes. Anywho - thats just my two cents, all in all a lot of changes have been made since I played last and things are looking pretty great.
