Error message after trying to use mods / Fehlermeldung bei Verwendung von Mods

Hey there,

i tried first time to using mods, but VT won't start. I get the error message "Object reference not set....". This happens to all mods i tried. Any idea?

Beim Versuch ein Spiel mit einer Mod zu starten, bekomm ich immer die Fehlermeldung "Object reference not set...". Schaue ich im Hauptmenü bei den Mods nach, stehen da zwar alle abonnierten Mods, aber jeweils rechts unten steht aber auch "herunterladen....0%". Es scheint als ob die Mods schlicht nicht geladen werden. Woran liegt das bzw. könnte das liegen? Den Steamclient neu zu starten hat da nicht geholfen

When opening the Mod manager page in-game, are the mods 100% downloaded?
If not, try logging out and logging in again of Steam.
If they're not at 100%, that will keep happening.

The modinfo says it's just downloading ("downloading...0%"), but it doesn't download the mods. I tried to restart Steam and the PC, but nothing helped :(
In other cases, when i activated the button at the mod, then the download begin suddenly, i don't know why VT doesn't start downloading the modfiles.
