Help needed with mod
Hi, i've been working on a mod and i've been trying to make it so that when a player enters a specific area (in a custom worldspace) that has to do with my mod, the player takes damage repeatedly until they die, the issue is i don't know how to do this, i think it might have something to do with a trigger zone but i don't know exactly how the script for that would look like, i've been trying for ages, and have not found any tutorials or guides, if anyone at all can help, please do!

This may or not be what you need. It sounds similar to a physical trap setup, though maybe invisible (unexplained damage?) Here's a tutorial on setting up traps and where you can find some prefab trap setups in the game. Hopefully something in there can be adapted to allow the damage without the weapon itself.

what im looking for exactly is a way to make some kind of enviromental damage to the player, for context the player takes a short trip to a village in atmora which can kill the player if he stays far from heat sources or outside houses thats the kind of damage im looking to give, but i will take a look at the traps, maybe they could have something similar

Ok, for something like that, you might want to take a look at Campfire and Frostfall, specifically to use the link for Chesko's tutorial site in the descriptions. The mods are able to be used as a framework, and his tutorial will show you exactly how to make it work. Frostfall is essentially make fire, find shelter, or freeze to death. I am confident that particular mechanism could be remade to cause direct damage. He also includes a dev kit and a means to use the scripts without having to use his mods as masters, if you prefer.
