Why aren't the workshop tools public?

ShadowBrain made 26 of the 32 mods for this game,while Chyros, Arecaceae, & Kroporo made the rest, but that tells me that outside of these four, no one can make content for this game.

The workshop tools are public. The entire game is open source in fact.

@kroporo one question: did you provide this link when the workshop update went live?

Other than that, thank you for answering my post, I'm going to keep it here in case someone asks the same thing as me.

I don't think there were any notable mentions of the repository when the update went live.
It's provided on the Wolfire discord however.

The repository has been public ever since the game release in 2013.
