All mods on steam are on Nexus and it will likely remain that way.

The sooner you go there, the less time you have to spend wringing your hands and fretting over not having access to a feature on a platform where you don't own the game.
This goes for all games. You can't subscribe to a mod if you don't have the game.
This is by using a special script from Greasy Fork with Tampermonkey plugged into your browser.
But it will never auto-update like subscribed mods do. It's 100% manual only.
Also you can award people stuff nowadays ^^
