I don't think there are any mods for that at the moment, but playing with a low Overland Difficulty setting should make there be pretty minimal time pressure.

I see kind of a shame I understandt the fact you guys want the game played one way but i just can't stand time pressure. anyway truth be told even if it's not much something about it just eats at the back of my mind as i play :)

If you start with 0 calamities and set the overland difficulty as low as possible, it removes any sense of pressure. I gave that a try because I'm not a big fan of time pressure. It made it a bit too easy overall for me, so I went back to using the default settings for a campaign.

One other thing that I found is that incursions seem to only occur if a region is infested. If you clear infestations, they don't seem to happen which may tamp down on that feeling of time pressure.

I also find that it's worth clearing out all of the regions even if the enemy is given a boost after each adventure.

Timers bothered me at first, but now that I've played more they're really not a big deal. You effectively have infinite time each chapter as, as far as I can see, heroes will only "retire" in-between chapters, so you can theoretically keep your party going forever unless they get killed in battle.

The actual attacks on the timer basically make for just a pseudo-tower defense portion. They can pretty much be ignored--you'd just be losing out on some extra resources to craft stuff before the next chapter. And if regions fall to the enemies, you can quickly repair them to regain the lost resources.
