Three Level Editor Questions
I am attempting to create my first ever track, and I need help on two things.

1: How do you disable flying? If I can't figure this out my track would be really easy. Also, once disabled are you supposed to do the opposite of the process to get the ability back?

2: What are the events used for? Simple enough question, right?

3: Is there an easy way to move tracks to where you have to jump and rotate to land on it or do you just have to simply adjust it yourself?

  1. There are multiple ways to do this. If you want it disabled for the entire map, go to the Level Settings tab, and scroll down a little. There's a toggle there to disable specific abilities for the whole map. If you use this method, you can re-enable abilities using an AbilityCheckpoint (in the Attachments folder), but only wings can be re-disabled after that, other abilities can't be toggled mid-race, only disabled globally and re-enabled with an AbilityCheckpoint, but not re-disabled after that.
    • The other way to do it if you just want to disable wings in portions of the map is to use the WingCorruptionZone or WingCorruptionZoneLarge, both of those are in the Zones folder.
  2. Events are used to trigger animators. Here's a guide: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1467701903
  3. You have to adjust it yourself. However, once you do it once, you can select all the pieces of the transfer, hit Ctrl+G to group them, and then go to Others (top menu bar) -> Create Custom Object. Name the object something like "90 Transfer" or whatever, and then that whole group of objects will be in the Custom folder of the library and you can place that entire group as many times as you want on any map. Just keep in mind you'll have to Shift+G (ungroup) the group when you place it if you want to do any spline manipulation such as moving the track nodes in the group to stretch/shrink/rotate/etc. the spline roads.

Got it! Thanks!
