Edit blueprints designed for "Build Challenges"
Is it too late for me to make any edits to a blueprint once it's been entered into the build challenge for the month? I didn't realize the terrain coloring doesn't save with the blueprint and that the only way to show any form of terrain coloring is to add scenery pieces that give that illusion. I noticed there is an edit option in the workshop, but I don't think that will allow me to make the changes I mentioned earlier.

You can't edit it from steam workshop, but it should be saved on your computer.

You can just click to participate in the build challenge again, open the blueprints tab, place your blueprint in the build challenge area, make any edits you want, and then submit it again. There's no limit to how many submissions you make.

If you don't want the old version to remain on the workshop, you can then delete it from there.

What happens if (hypothetically speaking) my blueprint is one of the blueprints chosen to be in the base game? If I have two of the same blueprint, which one would be chosen? Is it possible to delete the original submission (even though I'm satisfied with the number of people giving it a rating) and replace it with the new one? Would I need to change the title of the blueprint slightly to prevent any confusion between the original and the newer copy?

Typically the top 5 rated blueprints are added. Each of your blueprints would be treated as separate entries, so whichever one is in the top 5 would be added to the game.

You can delete the original submission on its workshop page. Your new entry won't keep the old entry's ratings, but the build challenge display in the game's main menu prioritizes showing entries with fewer ratings, so your new entry should quickly get votes.

I don't think so.
