Question about the Big clock in editor
Hi!

im trying some things out in the editor, learning as i go but i cant figure out how to edit the big clock, there seems to be no option to set the arms of the clock and let them open something?

Can you not edit it in a way where if the player turns the clock arms to a certain hour something opens? Same goes for the dial above it showing the different moons.

When i click the play button to thest the room you can open the clock door and turn the arms and the dial with the moons on it, but when in the editor there doesnt seem to be a way to turn the arms to a certain position for a unlock?

hope i explained this well enough ;P

Thanks in advance!

Hi! At the moment it's broken. What you can do is delete the clock face, and replace it with the smalle victorian clock. You can then set interactions for its arms.

Thanks for the response!

i tried the smaller clock, i can get it to turn when looking at it and dragging with mouse while testing the room, but it seems very tricky? i look at the arm and i can almost never get it highlighted allowing me to turn it, not until i look at a very precise spot of the arm wich is very tricky ;S is this normal or am i just doing something wrong?

Sorry for all the questions xD

Thanks again!
Kevin

It's probably happening because the arm collider is behind the clock collider. Try scaling the arms (make them fatter), or drag them more upfront.

That did the trick! thank you soo much for these replies. Ive never really used editors in any games for that matter but i love this game and the idea of making your own escape rooms, im just a total newb at figuring some of these things out ;S

Thanks again! i would have never tought making them fatter would be the fix.

Cheers,
Kevin
