How to save a config as new ?
Howdy. So I gave a try at the car editor and made a simple config I ended up liking on the sakura takumi VELIN (replaced the I4 engine with an I6 turbo and lowered the suspensions), but saving it means replacing the original VELIN config, which I don't want to.
What are the steps to create a new config ? I've read that you must create a new config file in the car directory, which I did, but it doesn't show up in the car editor. Obviously I'm missing something. Can anyone help me ?

I'm no expert but I will try to explain it.... Make sure you name your new config the correct number in sequence.... if there is already a config and config1, name it config2. Make sure you copy the bodyconfig and use the same number. Open the config and give it a version name and you should be good.

Oh, so you have to make a new bodyconfig file too. How did I not realize that. That solved my problem. Thank you very much !

No problem. Make sure you backup your work. If they ever do an update and add more car versions, your work may get overwritten.
