5 player mod?

Ive started experimenting with modding, ive been unable to really accomplish anything at this point as i am just learning. But yesterday a friend and i spoke about making a 5 player mod (we are a group of 5 that play games on a pretty constant basis). And im just wondering if anyone knows if this would even be possible with the current mod tools before i spend time looking into it.

Ive looked into this and found nothing, im sorry for bumping this but im wondering if anyone has found anything that could help me?

Although this would be fun I'm not sure if it would be possible with just modding.

I would love this mod. It would make sense to have all the heroes fighting at once (like in the Gameplay trailer when you can see all of them stand side by side), and it would also somewhat help differentiate from the other 4-player Co-Op games like L4D, having a spin of its own.

Also someone would need to shorten the audio file of Kruber's ult to just "We're the bloody Ubersreik 5!" :P

As long as it still plays the original if one party member dies

i always did wonder why even have 5 guys if you're arbitraily gonna say 'nah ♥♥♥♥ that, you can only pick four at a time because REASONS'

I think the closest thing we got was the 5 bots-team mod on Workshop, but it hasn't been updated since June 2018. :/

wounderful idea..
i believe it has to do mit left "4" dead..
maybe the got the source code and there was no 5 player option xD

I have worked on this since vermintide 1. And the biggest problem to make this work is test the mod. I dont have 5 dedicated friends that wants to test my mod and fix bugs. Also i dont have 5 machines to make this possible.

I manage to make 4 players and a extra bot. And this already caused a lot of problems to the game. Spawns not triggering anymore and a lot of other crashes can accour. Imagion a 5e player...

Shame :/ I'd love to help, but I do indeed not play enough to playtest regularily. Maybe Henk Jansma?
