why don't dev just upload the creator skins instead of codes?
i understand it was in the orginal game (pre steam) but i now seen codes not work anymore so why not just upload them to steam workshop mainly for archival reasons

This is up to the owner of the character to do if they so wish it. That's also if you got the codes right and such.
