Edit: Seems when I'm holding onto a model, and attempt to shrink the object, by means of looking down, the model is shown with the texture.
If you can see the textures at certain angles, though, does the model have tranparencies? For some reason, Superliminal sucks at rendering those properly and anything higher than 60% transparent renders at full transparency. Also, you would probably be able to tell, as the model would look broken, but are your normals flipped the wrong way? Superliminal only renders the outside of objects, so if they're not pointed the right way, the object textures would appear "inverted."
(My mother-in-law used to 3D model a decade ago; reminded me eventually via a forum post, of all places.)
Yeah, 3D modeling is fun. I only started learning it because of Superliminal, so most of what I know now only relates to how they do it.
