Killerkeo's Skimpy Clothes issue?
Why is this mod just... not functioning?

https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=177586032

Is there ANY way to get in contact with Killer Keo themself to fix it? Are they even around anymore? I justwant to hop back into a game of classic Skyrim with those "fun" mods installed, and yet the second half of the main mod is apparently broken. Please, does anyone know what the deal is? :/

Mod requires CBBE from Nexus Mods, as stated in description.

If you have access to CBBE, then you also have access to 2014 version of this mod, or dozens of BodySlide supported packs instead.

I can get CBBE on the Steam workshop, though, and THAT still works fine with the armor half, so what the heck's up with the clothing half saying it just doesn't work anymore. It literally says on the page that it's incompatible with Skyrim, for some reason.

So it does, but link points to CK landing page and does not actually explain the thing.

The last update to 32bit game came March 4, 2013. KK's mod was released after that, so it should be in par with the patch. This is interesting. I don't know why it is supposed to be incompatible and I can't test right now, because I am at work for next 12 hours.

CBBE in Workshop is absolutely ancient.

Yeah, it is ancient, but it still works for the most part. I just wish I could get in contact with Killer Keo to ask what happened.

Or, just create Nexus account. Standard account is free and it has more up to date stuff.

If you don't want to, then that I am unsure how to sort this out. I would have to download the file and inspect it - if it even allows itself to be downloaded, when marked as incompatible. It would be closer to end of the next week, before I would have time to install 32bit Skryim and tools.

I HAVE a Nexus account. I'm just not going to go through the agony of downloading all the stupid third party programs to make these work, when I know they can work fine through the Steam workshop.

There is only one: mod manager. Even that is sort of optional.

You still need LOOT to sort your load order and Wrye Bash to merge leveled lists, if you want load order to work properly. Workshop does not do any of that.

It only drops files in to Data folder and they get loaded in what ever order they are loaded, with no attention to form or resource conflicts.

And if you do not care from oddities, then it is all the same where you download your mods. Right?

take my advice, go to nexus. get mod organizer (FAR BETTER THAN VORTEX) and download any and all skimpy clothing mods you want.

Last time I tried doing the Caliente + Killer Keo combo with Nexus, it said I needed a script extender and a mesh mod, which had its own batch of requirements, some of which caused horrible errors in my game. So no, I can't just use the Mod Manager, which I also already have.

Script Extender is a common requirement for many mods. It also has very useful features, like memory fix for Skyrim.

CBBE does not use any custom scripts, so it does not require it. If you use BodySlide supported gear for CBBE or UUNP bodies, then you would of course need a BodySlide to build meshes.

There are some standalone bodies and gear - like UNP, but BodySlide is indeed more common standard, because it avoids a lot of pointless work and conflicts.

If you want to give another try, then just ask. We still have people active in Skyrim main forum, a bunch of pinned topics and even Modding U -server in Discord for live support.

Hopefully you find what you are looking for.

I (gabriel08/theNordHero) have a few skimpy not nude (maybe one semi nude) in good taste mods but there are 2 problems

1. I don't have the testers to test them - My head tester is only 14
2. I also need someone to re-take the screenshots of them (so that they are in better taste)

I am trying to expand my regular customized outfits too. Its a slow process... getting permissions and a lot these mods just don't work (well not for my standard)...not to mention a lot of these mod authors have disappeared...thank the gods...I have back porters.
