How To Get Started?
How would I go about getting started making a mod in this game? Specifically, I'm looking to make model swaps.

I have 3DS Max and Blender and know enough to be able to navigate them and do some small modifcations as needed but I don't know what the first step would even be to get going.

For the sake of example, let's say I wanted to mod in Caliburn from Sonic and the Black Knight as a short sword or make an outfit that replaces Gladio with Leomon from Digimon. What would be the proper way to go about it?

If there are study materials, I'd gladly look those up if you guys could direct me. I've been drawing blanks every time I look.

The first step would be to get Flagrum together with its Blender addon: https://github.com/Kizari/Flagrum/releases/
Load your custom model into Blender, align it as much as possible with the original XV model you want to replace, rig your custom model in line with original XV weights, apply materials and textures with the Flagrum addon, export to .fmd, import to the Flagrum app, build the mod. Done. If you need support, the Flagrum app contains a link to guides as well a to the discord support server. You can start with this guide, making a replacement is quite similar to it: https://github.com/Kizari/Flagrum/wiki/Creating-An-Outfit-Mod
