While i don't know the exact shenanigans required, im pretty sure there is more to it.
You have to define graphics, decisons etc as well.
On the other hand , you said "quick way". Hmm...to a degree, but some things might conflict.
Admittedly i don't know enough about societies.
The general advice i like to give, as a part time modder myself and sure not an expert or hardened veteran in modding, take an existing mod as example and go with that to learn how it can work. That's how i learned some CK2 modding. Okay i started with graphic related mods, but still. There are some scociety mods on the Workshop that might help there.
Good luck....and maybe a better explanation will follow.
IF not, then my suggestion should still help.
Simply searching the Workshop for "societies" gave me pages of results and for instance
this (i didn't look at it, but sounds helpful)
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1109993099
Anyways guess I'll just try a cut and paste thing using vanilla societies so hopefully all needed assets will already be in place.
Sorry to hear.
As i said i didn't look at it in action.
It was just randomly selected by the results i got using the search engine of the Workshop and as the description and comments seemed promising.
That was probably misleading me then.
Maybe just tatke any other real society mod on the Workshop and see how they do it.
Alternatively ask on the Paradox forum, in the User Modifications subforum for CK2 and there in the "Modding- Quick Questions" thread. The experts are on there . Another oiption i know is the discord channel for CK2 and its modding subsection or whatever the phrase is for that.
At least one good modder is on there occasionaly as well who might know this stuff.
Good luck.
