I've been thinking of a mod that could possibly commemorate battles for your faction/other factions by placing a marker in the map tiles where said battles occur (i.e criss-crossed swords or spears. Markers could similar to the ones used for ports and forts). Commemorated battles would need to have a min. number of combatants to make them memorable; i.e 50000 or so on either side. Affected tiles would have modifies after the fact (depopulation, new holy sites, population attraction, etc.) and even event windows with art and flavour text that pop-up during the annivesary of the battle...decisions in these windows could boost national manpower, discipline, or grant bonuses to political influence gain and stability. I've got all these ideas, but don't know how to manipulate the game to make them happen! I am however willing to write out all flavour text for windows etc that may be needed, and do any complimentary work that someone else making such a mod might need. Hoping someone sees this and thinks its a good enough idea to try...
