Report a translation problem
The most common reason lately, has been because of insufficient hard drive space.
The base game is around 2.5gb, with the default cars and tracks, is an additional 24gb.
If you have pressed SKIP on the first startup, you have cancelled the download of the content.
If you have sufficient hard drive space, subscribe to 1 item from the workshop, and the downloads will resume.
Usually when the error message missing base mod occurs, is when you have tried to join a server, where you don't own the paid content/dlc, or you have a skinpack which has modified the original base mod.
Use modmgr.exe in the rFactor2/Bin64 folder to check what the problem is.
