Hello and welcome to modding Skyrim.

Workshop works through subscription feed. Launcher has Data Files option that allows you to check if plugins are actually enabled.

If they do not appear at all, then you have hit a bug with Workshop. This platform isn't the most stable available and Bethesda is no longer providing updates to it.

Furthermore, plugins in your game need to be loaded in correct order. There are too sort of priorities to consider.

- Load order: order where records from plugins are being loaded by the game.
- Resource priorities (mod priorities): order where resources are being loaded by the game.

You do not need to worry too much about resource priorities with Workshop. All resource files are in archives and loaded when respective plugin loads them.

But for load order you need to use Load Order Optimization Tool called LOOT.

You can find all links, tools and tutorials from main Skyrim Discussion forum. We have them in pinned topics. Check my topic and/or smr1975's topic to catch up.

If you can't find what you are looking for, or you are getting confused, then just ask. I'll remain subscribed to this thread.

Yeah, I been doing some double backing to see if there might be something on my end. Due to the fact as you mentioned, that I do not see any of the mods im trying to add as an option. And due to the fact im not as tech savy as id like to be. I have a hard time finding files and how to navigate through them. I will check the pinned topics to see if there might be some more info im missing there. Thank you in advance for the detailed response!

Out of curiosity, are you playing Special Edition? I ask because I don't see a mouse icon, to indicate ownership of this version of the game. If you're on SE, the workshop won't work for you. I don't know where the workshop mods would go, as I've never tried to do so, but just for giggles, check the data folder file path for what you do have installed. *Usually* it's

c > program files (x86) > steam > steam apps > common > skyrim > data

or

...common > skyrim special edition > data

so I'm curious to see if your "common" folder has both skyrim and skyrim special edition folders in it. If it does, follow them and see which one is full of vanilla game data.

Ok, your mods are going to be from either nexusmods.com, bethesda.net via the in-game mods tab, or possibly creation club, via its own in-game tab. Steam workshop doesn't have SE mods, only "oldrim" mods.

well, how do you like that. I never would have guessed the special edition would actually play a part in that....guess I should have guessed. To be fair the mods that the game offers now on menu are alright. nothing to really write home about. But I will have to do some looking into the links to see if there is anything else I can do further.
