Idea for "Pokémon" mod.
I was just browsing the mods and started thinking ideas for mods, and got an idea: Pokémon mod.

So there would be different items:
  • Normal pokéball
  • Greatball
  • Masterball (catches any creature 100% chance, one use only, after which it would behave as normal pokéball except for the looks)
And so on. Different pokéball would have different probabilities of catching creatures. And the higher the probability the more rare the item would be.

Each of the pokéballs would have following properties:
  • Fire beam (to release caught creature that will be turned loyal to you, or to return creature loyal to you back in the ball). Beam has no effect on creatures not loyal.
  • Throw ball (which if hits enemy it will fire beam to it, the lower the health the higher probability to catch the enemy, which will then be turned loyal to you (with pheromone?). If catching fails the creature might get more violent (with small amount of bersekium)). No physics damage to creatures.
  • Only one creature can be within each ball at a time.
  • One ball can be used to turn several creatures loyal and any loyal creature can return to any ball.
The beam/throw mechanics would be similar to flasks (except that beam would not be affected by physics). Perhaps there could be homing effect on the beam towards loyal creatures.

Full heal would heal also creatures inside pokéballs you're holding. But, if creature is e.g. burning when returning to pokéball then after a while pokéball contains only burnt corpse of the creature. Soaking the ball in water etc makes the creature inside wet too (be careful that it doesn't drown).

P.S. I have programming background but no knowledge of making mods. So if I have time I can also try to make this mod but don't know when that would be. Feel free to implement the mod before I have time.
