Newest Update ruined the Policy (and the rest of the) Editor?

So I have the actual Game on my D: Drive and the Mods Folder in the C: Drive. It worked flawlessly 2 weeks ago. Maybe its a Steam issue?

I'm having the same issue. The tool keeps telling me it's having a problem with my D drive but my D drive is a DVD player (yes, people still have those :P) and my game and all my files are on my C drive

Same issue here. I'll be waiting for a fix to start playing. I have some mod ideas and this tool would be really cool if it worked!

Hi, I will look into this ASAP. FWIW, the file path there is the path to the source code on my PC, which is why it only makes sense to me :D.

Can someone who has this error paste the contents of the file at

\my documents\my games\democracy 4\debug\debug.txt
and
\my documents\my games\democracy 4\debug\errors.txt

They should contain a bunch of warnings that illustrate why this is happening for you. Examples might be:

"SteamUGC()->SetItemTitle failed"
"SteamUGC()->SetItemDescription failed"
"SteamUGC()->SetItemVisibility failed"
"SteamUGC()->SetItemContent failed"
"SteamUGC()->SetItemPreview failed"

It could be that the tools are letting you enter data that is invalid at steams end, but it would be nice to narrow it down to exactly what gets rejected.
