Defend against waves mode

Would anyone else be happy with a mode where you get to defend against an endless amount of waves?

I realise that this creates a problem for you since ammo is limited. But that's the fun, cause you'd have to pick up enemy weapons between waves, which realistically should be 30 seconds or so. The longer you can survive the more XP you get, I don't know, maybe there can be some cosmetic rewards along the waves.

A somewhat similar mode exists already.
Its called "Domination" and is available when you start hosting a PVE Session. Its in the Mission Selection Screen as a new tab then.
The difference here is timelimit and you have objectives, but the enemies come infinitely i believe.

Oh is it? I had no idea. Well, still, I think it's a great idea to make a more free wave based mode I guess. Without objectives, but totally free to chose location / building to defend. I'm sure more games modes could be implemented apart from that.

I would like that too, just wanted to point out that theres another PVE Mode besides the missions in case you missed it.
Its not the same, but possibly you find some fun with it until someone does a Horde Mode.

I will for sure check it out. I feel like sometimes it's fun to just dig down and defend an area. Cheers.

Yeah that is fun.
Theres even a mission with that as an objective. Just that it ends.

Combine that with the zombies mod and we're in business! Add in place able objects maybe as a "tool" that you can drop and we're in business!

To be fair, there could be a toggle in the settings before you start where you can choose zombies or humans, or aliens ;)
